Friendships

It takes mutual effort to maintain relationships, otherwise time will just pull it further and further away. When one realizes the difference, it may be too late.

Blessed with fabulous friends at school

I started with my first year, first semester with few friends. A lot of friends whom aren't like minded. So most of the time, I was pretty much alone and independent and I dreaded group work.

Second semester got better. I was blessed with people whom I could work with, share ideas, complain about school, work and everything else in the world! Holidays were great too with happy and crazy peeps to colour my life! Not to mention, that during TA, I've forged new friendships and found a new and endearing mummy! =D

This semester, I met another great friend! This was what happened today. Lesson ended at 7.20pm today and even though she didn't bring her handphone, she thought of me. She got another friend to call me and asked if I wanted a lift to the train station.

I really thought it was really sweet of her to go this far for a newly found friend. Oh my, I'm loving her to bits already!!!! =P

I think I'm really blessed. I really am. =)

A Museumy Day!

Hohohoho! Another fun outing with minimal Vitamin M! haha! Yes, we were out in taitai style once again!

After our trip to the museum then we headed off to Cedele to have our early dinner. Yummy stuff!!! The pancake that Yvonne had was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo GOOD can???? =P

We ended the day with watching The Night At the Museum II movie! Haha!

The THY cooking escapade!!!

We literally had our dose of desserts after the stressful period! (Read previous post) whahahhaa!

Congrats to Yvonne who got her well deserved A+ for DCE100 and Hazel who had a BIG BIG jump on her GPA!!!! woohoo!!!! =D


We really had fun in the process and lotsa funny moments! hehehe! =D

Trip to the zoo

It was definitely a great day as the clouds shielded us from the scorching sun! Spent the whole day there walking around snapping pictures of the sleepy animals (except for the monkeys) and entertaining ourselves.

The best pics I felt were the ones I took with the monkeys, as I managed to capture different expressions of them. =P Haha! Quite funny too! I wished I have the time and patience to play around with my camera. I think I'm underusing its function.

To end it all, thanks to Hazel who was insistent on feeding her dead skin to the fish, we indulged ourselves with a ticklish sensation on our feet at the fish spa located outside the zoo. It was a steal too! Haha! They had this promotion going on. Students have the privilege of paying a fee of $5.35 for 10minutes! =D

Also,thanks to Tammy for the ride to Casuarina where we had a sumptuous dinner at ban leong to fill our empty stomach! Yummy! Great food, affordable price! =)


Most importantly, the outing was fun with the crazy peeps and not forgetting to mention that very little vitamin M was utilized. Thanks to our company's zoo pass which granted us free admission! hee!

The exciting week!

Wed: We made the balloons kiss during our yeast experiments! hehehe! How cute is that?




Fri: Met up with Beng and Dory!!!!! Was so looking forward to that day! Had desserts at Canele! So heavenly!! We chatted till we were chased out of the cafe and talked on till 12mn. One night is never enough for the belly belles!!!! I love them so much!

Sat: had our post family reunion with Gina's family,Ee-lin's family and mine! First it was dim sum at Red Star, KTV at Civil Service Club and Zhi Char at some family restaurant. Its been a long time since we have such gatherings. Am glad I organized it. My dear cousin is preggie and hope she'll have a smooth pregnancy! Looking for Wed, where we can catch up with Sheng and hopefully get my Naraya bags! =p

Sun: Got this unique plant at the market!!!! Its called the butterfly plant because of the leaves! I so love my garden can? Spent the last holiday setting it up! Am trying to grow plants from seeds!

Satisfied my zhui kuey cravings this morning too! hehe!

Next week is term break! Am so gonna work really hard to finish as many assignments I can! =P
